Vendortól vásárolt tárgyak != craft material

Grimiku reagált az olvasói felvetésre, miszerint ha fehér cuccokból szedhető alapanyagra van szükségünk akkor a legjobb módja a beszerzésnek az, ha a vendoroktól lvl 1-es fehér cuccokat veszünk amik cirka 50 goldba kerülnek csak. A jövőben számítanunk kell olyan változtatásra ami már nem teszi lehetővé a vendoroktól vásárolt tárgyak szétbontását, a következő béta patchben már ezt is implementálják.

 

Are you going to allow us to buy white items from a vendor as a level 1 & salvage them for debris?
Because right now it’s the best way to get debris by far, only 50g per white item as well

I’ve seen this brought up a few times and want to give you all a heads up that it’s going to be changed. Items bought from a vendor will no longer be salvageable in a future beta patch.

Also, thank you all for taking the time to test things out, and sharing your thoughts. It means a lot to us and has been very helpful. I’ve been keeping an eye on your feedback about crafting in this thread, and will be passing it along. (forrás)

További RoS Béta változtatások!

Nevalistis  újabb kérdéseket megválaszolva csöpögtetett hasznos infókat a RoS bétáról:

  • A legendary receptek sokkal ritkábban fognak esni (jelenleg igencsak gyakori látványok a bétában) a következő béta patch után.
  • A Riftekért járó Hoardic cache (greater) el lesz távolítva a játékból és helyette a Rift őrzőjét legyőzve kapjuk magából az őrzőből a lootot (szintén köv. patchben).
  • Jelenleg bountykért és riftekért járó hoardic cache is tartalmazhat mind legendary mind set itemet (nem csak receptet) csupán az esély rá kicsi jelenleg.
  • Kadala a blood shard vendor is oszthat majd legendary itemet vásárláskor, de a drop esély kicsi lesz ám.
  • Lorath Nahr nem fog visszatérni vendorként (korábban Kadala, a blood shard vendor mellett állt és csak áru nélküli cserelapot hozott kattintáskor)
  • Mindegy, hogy a cache-t hol nyitjuk ki: a tartalma már megkaparintásuk pillanatakor elrendeltetett.
  • Még nem egyértelmű, hogy a gambling alkalmával a legendary szerzésének esélyére hatással van-e a nehézségi fokozat amin éppen vásárolnánk.

Since it’s been mentioned here already, I’d like to clarify – there is a bug with Legendary plans dropping too frequently. It will be addressed in the next patch in the Beta/PTR test. =) At this time I don’t have a patch date to provide, but as we draw nearer, we will keep you informed!

Nem lesz hetedik aktív skill slot

Ismét megerősítették, hogy nem lesz hetedik aktív skill slot a RoS-ban, ennek ellenére foglalkoztatja őket a kérdés, hogy akik keveslik a 6 aktív skill helyet, azok az aktuális buildjüket hogyan egészítenék ki. Azt se felejtsük el, hogy a RoS játékosok lvl 70-n kapnak egy negyedik passzív skill helyet is.

Going to echo a similar response I gave to a thread that asked this same question a few months ago. Apologies for the overlap, but the answer hasn’t changed since then. :)

So! No current plans to increase the 6-skill limit. We still feel that 6 is a good number, enough to give you flexibility in your build choices, but not too much to where you don’t have to make thoughtful decisions about what you put on your bar. (We actually had 7 skills available for a pretty substantial period of time before Diablo III shipped; however, after lots of testing and feedback rounds, we reduced the number to 6. So, this is definitely something we’ve not only considered, but also evaluated heavily in the actual game environment.)

We know that some players may disagree with that approach (example: the OP). Totally cool, but let me turn the question back on you and then add a few more, because learning why you prefer one gameplay feature over another is super meaningful. Also, sometimes it can be pretty fun, too.

How is having only six skill lots negatively impacting your gameplay experience right now? If you can cite specific examples, even better!
On the flip side, how would having an extra skill slot improve your game experience?
If you had a 7th skill slot, what additional spells or abilities would you add to your bar (on top of the builds you use currently)?

Note that players will get a 4th passive slot at level 70.

RoS Beta január 2. hotfixek

Új év, újabb adag kisebb hotfix érkezett a RoS bétához, a Monk 1-2 skilljéhez, ill. apróbb változtatások, mint pl. Lorath Nahr már nem rendelkezik árulistával, vagy hogy craftoláskor lefagyott a server etc. :

 

General:

 

  • Hellfire plans no longer cost Blood Shards and should now cost gold.
  • Monster density in Act I has been adjusted.
  • An issue where crafting certain items caused the server to crashed has been resolved.
  • Resolved an issue where the proc from Odyn Son could proc from itself.
  • Lorath Nahr no longer has a vendor list.
  • An error will no longer occur when crafting Archon items.
  • The combat AI for NPCs has received an optimization pass.

Items:

  • Nemesis Bracers: Bracers will now only generate a single pack of enemies when a shrine is triggered.

Monk:

  • Serenity – Tranquility: An error will no longer occur when a player takes damage while Serenity – Tranquility is active.
  • Fists of Thunder – Static Charge: Will no longer incorrectly proc off of DoT damage.

Wizard

  • Magic Missile – Conflagrate: Corrected an issue that would occasionally cause the game to crash.

Emlékeztek még a Diablo III megjelenésének élményére? Hatalmas függés. Számomra ez a két szó jellemezte leginkább. Csak azért hozom fel újra ugyanezeket az emlékeket, mert nálam a RoS bétája ugyanezt az érzést hozta és bár még csiszolás alatt áll a drágakő, mégis nagyszerűnek tartom a kiegészítőt.

Újabb PTR hibajavítások

Újabb javítások érkeztek a PTR szerverekre, amik önmagukban nem eredményeznek javítócsomagok letöltését mivel ezek a szerver oldalon kerültek telepítésre. Ennek ellenére néhány változtatás érvényesítéséhez elképzelhető, hogy a játék újraindításához lesz szükség.

A játékot olyan kisebb-nagyobb változtatások érték, mint például az Act I-ben található ellenfelek sűrűségének finomhangolása, a Hellfire tervek immáron nem blood shardba, hanem aranyba kerülnek illetve javították a némely tárgy kraftolása esetén fennálló szerver összemlásokat is.

Below you will find a list of hotfixes recently applied or coming soon to the PTR that address various bugs and mechanic tweaks.

These hotfixes should not require you to download a new patch for the PTR. Some of the hotfixes below will go live the moment they are implemented while others may require the restart of the game to go into effect. Please keep in mind that some issues cannot be addressed without a client-side patch. Also note that changes to certain abilities will not be reflected in its tooltip until a patch is issued.

[LIVE HOTFIXES]

General:

  • Hellfire plans no longer cost Blood Shards and should now cost gold.
  • Monster density in Act I has been adjusted.
  • An issue where crafting certain items caused the server to crashed has been resolved.
  • Resolved an issue where the proc from Odyn Son could proc from itself.
  • Items above level 60 will no longer drop for players on the PTR.
  • Players can now gain Paragon levels on the PTR
  • Please note: Experience gained for paragon levels will not be reflected in the XP bar. When you gain a Paragon experience level, you will see a toast notification and the level-up explosion. In addition, the Paragon experience UI button appears, allowing players to spend their Paragon points. This is currently the only way to access the Paragon points UI. We are aware of this issue, and it will require a patch to fully resolve.

Monk:

  • Serenity – Tranquility: An error will no longer occur when a player takes damage while Serenity – Tranquility is active. (forrás)

A PTR és Béta sorbanállás oka: teljes hétvégés Load teszt

Ahogy már sokan észrevettétek, több esetben is előfordult, hogy várakozni kellett PTR-n vagy Closed bétában, míg elindult a játék Start Game után. Ennek oka, hogy ezen a hétvégén a szerveren Load tesztet futtatnak, melynek a lényege, hogy egyszerre csak bizonyos számú játékos lehet bent. Tulajdonképpen hasonlít a stress teszthez, hogy felkészítsék azokat a szerver(eke)t, nagyobb számú játékos folyamatos kezelésére. A Load teszt december 15. vasárnap éjfélig tart.

Attention ladies and gentle nephalem,

We’re currently performing load testing on the both the Reaper of Souls Closed Beta and Patch 2.0.1 PTR. Testing began yesterday evening and will continue through Sunday, December 15.

For those who may be unfamiliar with what load testing is, it basically means that we’re artificially limiting the number of players who can be logged into the game at any given time as well as the amount of hardware game data can be stored and run on. The goal of this testing is to put our queuing system and game servers under heavy load so that we can perform server optimizations and make sure that said services perform as smoothly as possible for when patch 2.0.1 and Reaper of Souls launch.

Please note that, due the increased load on our queuing system and games servers, you may experience periods of high latency, disconnects, or long queue times while playing on the Patch 2.0.1 PTR and Closed Beta. While this is completely normal, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.

EXPANSION FEATURES

New Act: Explore Westmarch, the Blood Marsh, and Pandemonium
The latest chapter in Sanctuary’s epic saga is now available for testing. Adventurers can explore the dark and sinister alleys of Westmarch, trudge through the murky Blood Marsh wetlands, and take the fight to the Angel of Death himself on the ancient battlefields and lost strongholds of Pandemonium. All content from Act V is playable (excluding the final boss fight).

New Level Cap: 70
Players can now advance their characters to level 70.

New Class: The Crusader
The newest class, the Crusader, is at your command! Deck yourself out in battle-ravaged full plate, pick up a mighty tower shield, and smite your enemies with righteous Wrath. This Strength-based, mid-ranged melee hybrid warrior has been fully integrated into all Acts of the game with all-new character interactions, quests, and gear.

New Gameplay Mode: Adventure Mode
Adventure Mode is Diablo III’s new sandbox, where players have the freedom to explore and play the game however they like. In this mode, all waypoints are unlocked, so players can go where they want, when they want—across any Act as well! Adventure Mode also includes two new features: Bounties and Nephalem Rifts.

New Feature: Bounties
Bounties are optional, randomized objectives available only in Adventure Mode. In addition to providing players with a guided experience within a specific Act, Bounties are also intended to showcase all the different content Diablo III has to offer. Some examples of Bounties you can pick up include slaying a unique monster (like Mira Eamon), killing a boss (like Queen Aranae), clearing a dungeon (like the Khazra Den), and completing an event (like Last Stand of the Ancients). Each Act will have its own set of randomized Bounties for players to explore and conquer, and you’ll receive new Bounties each time you start a new Adventure Mode game.

For completing a single Bounty, players will receive gold, experience, and a new currency called “Blood Shards.” For completing all five Bounties within a single Act, players will also receive a greater Horadric Cache, full of randomized loot and crafting materials. Bounty hunters will also be rewarded with a new item, Rift Keystones. Rift Keystones grant access to another feature we’re introducing in Adventure Mode: Nephalem Rifts.

Invitations to this next phase of our public test are now being delivered to nephalem worldwide. If you’ve been invited to the Closed Beta, we’d love to hear all about your adventures on the forums, watch your live streams, and see screenshots and videos of your experiences in Sanctuary.  Please keep in mind that Reaper of Souls is still in development, which means that all content in the Closed Beta is subject to change and isn’t necessarily representative of the final game.
